Patrick celebrated a big birthday this year.
We celebrated the best way we know how, at the Royals game.
Our little Royals fan made fast friends with those sitting around us.
She preferred to watch the people instead of the game.
Madeline got to ride on the Slugger lion on the carousel. 
Let’s go Royals! She loved to clap and give high fives whenever everyone was cheering. We will turn her into a big Royals baseball fan.
She felt like a big kid getting to sit in her own seat for part of the game since the people sitting next to us didn’t stay for the whole game.
Unfortunately, they didn’t manage a win for Patrick’s birthday, but we still enjoyed our night together at the old ballpark.
