It’s All in the Past

I honestly couldn’t tell you the last time this kid took a nap, but today was a rough one. She was crying when I picked her up from school. She got hurt at recess - another kid fell into her and hit her head. She came home with a headache and tummy ache AND her first wiggly tooth! It’s been a big, hard, crazy, busy week and so she curled up on the sofa and took her first nap in probably years. Here’s to a hopefully more relaxing weekend for my baby girl (after dance on Saturday morning of course). #madelineroselouisedenney
Juliette got a new house too. Don’t worry she’ll be allowed to free roam around once we get a few more things put away. This is just where she’ll hang out at night and when we are out of the house so we don’t have to worry about all of her furry siblings playing too rough with her. They generally get along well, but she’s tiny and I worry. #julietteoliviadenney
It’s a blurry photo, but we have a cardinal that seems to frequent our backyard. We have seen him at least once everyday since we’ve been here. We like to think it’s Josh telling us that he’s still with us. Always a comfort knowing we can still feel his presence in all that we do, especially in these big important moments. #joshuapatrickdenney #parentingafterloss
